Aroma Academy Sensory Workshop and Wine Tasting Skills
This course will be suitable for those who’d like to further their understanding in sensory training. The programme provides a fantastic introduction to Sensory Skills, the Sense of Smell and to the basic methodologies and tools to allow the development of your Aroma Recognition Skills.
Topics included in the course are: an introduction to aroma/flavour recognition, aroma/flavour vocabulary, calibrating your nose, how aromas/flavours behave, aroma profiling, aroma/flavour faults and competency systems, followed by wine tasting skill workshop.
The course is suitable for all audiences, but especially those who are interested in developing their sensory skills in wine.
The price £120 includes the 3.5 hour in-person aroma sensory workshop and tasting of 5 wines. (No exam required. But those who'd like to take the Aroma Academy Exam and receive a certificate can contact us to discuss further) *** Early bird tickets £99 till 15th June.
About the Aroma Academy course trainer:
Leona De Pasquale is the Founder and Chief Educator of Camellia and Vine. She is the first accredited Aroma Academy trainer in England and is also a wine educator for the WSET, Bordeaux, Rioja and Madeira Wines. Leona obtained her Tea Sommelier Qualification from the UK Tea Academy.
