Leona De Pasquale DipWSET
Founder, Owner & Chief Educator
Leona De Pasquale DipWSET is a wine educator, journalist, and translator, and Founder of Camellia and Vine, a London-based wine and tea training company.
Beginning her wine career in 2003 in Taiwan and the UK, she worked with companies such as Vinopolis, Bibendum and Berkmann, later serving as Head of Training at WineEd (Jascot Wine Merchant).
Leona is a Certified Educator for WSET, Rioja, Madeira, Bordeaux wines, and Aroma Academy, and writes for publications like The Buyer, The Drinks Business, Harpers and Falstaff International. She has translated key wine books, including The World Atlas of Wine and WSET’s course materials into Chinese.
Leona also judges at major wine competitions, including the Decanter World Wine Awards and IWSC.
Passionate about tea, she is a qualified Tea Sommelier and Tea Champion, with her hospitality training courses endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality.
